What is the process of migrating to a new domain? Do we need to open a brand new Amazon account for the new domain?

I have Sendy installed on mydomain/sendy. I created a brand for my client with "From email" set to ex.name@client-domain.com. No Custom domain is configured in the brand settings.

I noticed two different behaviors:

1. When I don't add any unsubscribe link in the campaign HTML, Sendy automatically appends one at the bottom - and that auto-generated link correctly uses ex. client-domain.com (the brand's email domain). However I have no control over its styling or text (it is "unsubscribe" and that is it).

2. When I use the <unsubscribe style="...">Unsubscribe here</unsubscribe> tag to style the link, Sendy generates the link through mydomain/sendy/unsubscribe-success.php - my own domain, not the client's.

I want to use the styled <unsubscribe> tag but have it generate the link through client-domain.com (the brand's domain) just like the automatic one does.

Is this a bug or is there a setting I'm missing?

If I import a list via CSV and create an autoresponder (welcome sequence). Are the subscribers from the imported list added to the autoresponder? I'd prefer not as they are not per se "new subscribers".

I know that we usually receive our weblinks through the campaign sent confirmation emails. However, last week we experienced an issue for a few days where some campaigns didn’t fully register as sent, so we didn’t receive the confirmation emails. When we tried to copy, paste, and send the weblinks to some of our clients by clicking the campaign links and the eye icon within Sendy, the links no longer led to the web version of the campaign. Instead, they directed to report links that require a sign-in to view.

Is this a bug, or has there been an update to how we should access the weblink version of a campaign?

We need to send breaking news about sport events and we want these to be sent immediately.

We are thinking about two possible solutions:

1) Setting the cron to run every minute

2) Trigger the sending by sending an HTTP request to https://our-sendy-address.com/scheduled.php

I found the old thread where you do not recommend to go with the 1-minute cron jobs: https://sendy.co/forum/discussion/15894/cron-for-sending-emails-set-to-every-minute

I was curious to see if you are not locking the cron jobs properly and if that could cause some race conditions and duplicate email deliveries. But it seems to work fine.

When we send newsletter to 4000 email addresses it takes about 10 minutes and it's all done in a single cron job run. The later cron job which is triggered in that 10 minute sending duration just does not start sending the same campaign again and just does nothing.

So I'm under impression that we do not have to worry about running the sending cron every minute and your code does avoid duplicate cron runs, so that would be the first solution (1).

But we would still like to trigger the sending manually to send the emails instantly. Our triggering would check the 5 minute cycle of the standard cron (0, 5, 10, 15,... 55 minutes each hour) and it if would be too close to it (say 1 minute) it would not do it, to avoid the race conditions. That would be the second solution (2).

Could you please let us know if we missed anything and which approach do you use to speed up the email sending?

I have an integration with BookFunnel that validates a subscriber's eligibility to download a file based on their inclusion on one of my Sendy lists. I want to hide the list (among others) so that it's not selectable in campaign sending. Will hiding it interfere with this integration/check?

For example, can we view logs showing when each specific email was sent and when it was unsubscribed, or identify when each contact’s last activity changed and compare that to when the email was sent? I would imagine if it changed directly after being sent it was automatically unsubscribed.

For example, will they get 2 unsubscribe emails?

So here is my question: Is there a plan that someday in the near future, Sendy will be able to use other providers or saas services available and not only AWS or other US-based services?

This would be very nice! I would also pay for a new license if this change would come.

My question is linked to issues n. 2 (mailbox full) and 3 (server outage): is it possible to get the bouncing reasons and in these particular cases would it be possible to reset the BOUNCED status?

Since I don't know of a way to stop bots/spam from addings subs via this address, is there a way to edit this address instead?

I was told they couldn’t disable Mod_Security for just domain.com/sendy unless they disable for the whole domain.

So, I’m planning on moving Sendy to sub-domain so I can disable mod security for it.

I have multiple email lists for multiple projects being managed and I'm accessing everything through AWS, SES, SMTP. Everything seems to be working well and no issues except for the following issue that I have noticed:

For some reason Gmail unsubscribe links that are next to the email address are not showing in any of their web applications or mobile apps. I would like these to display because I do believe it reduces spam reportings if you allow users to unsubscribe as easy as possible.

What could be causing this to not display? Is it possible that Gmail simply doesn't like the fact that the emails are are signed by and mailed by projectone.com but the unsubscribe link listed in the headers is from genericdomain.xyz?

Or maybe like I mentioned before it's because I'm using a .xyz domain for the generic domain and I should use a .com?

I have 3 brands, and each has its own Amazon SES account.
I cant use a single SES, for some reason like quotas limit.
So I configured each brand to send with Amazon SES SMTP.

But how can I process bounce and complain?
Is there a solution?
Is it possible to manually configure the SNS on Amazon to call the bounce and complaints management code?

I have issue with opened email report. Display always zero. Instead if you click on the email received I can see opened 0 activity 1. I have created a test group to verify it. Anyone know why this happen after the upgrade to latest version.
