Creating subscribers for inactive list

Hello

I have been reading through the various posts on this topic, but would like some clarification.

I would like to create a segment for my inactive users (users that have been inactive for the last 6 months)

First off do I choose LAST ACTIVITY and when it comes to the date range, I am not to sure what to choose, ie, BEFORE or BETWEEN to select inactive users for last 6 months?

I would appreciate your help on this
