Can I access sendy via local ip address

edited November 2012 in Questions
I'm setting up sendy for purely internal use, only our marketing dept will have access for their mailshots.

Our proxy server requires authentication and I think it's causing problems, I cannot access sendy from the registered domain when it's on our network. Is it possible to access sendy via local ip instead? Everytime I try I get a brief glimpse of the login screen with no formatting and then it disappears.

  • You must install Sendy on a live web server, the IP address must be accessible by the public so that formatted links in emails will not be broken. Sendy also checks your license and domain via our server. If Sendy is installed offline, nothing will work.

ok, I have it working now on our network with the proxy server....our firewall rules weren't quite right.

    Setup my rules like this....

    Wan to Lan

    http 80

    Lan to Wan

    http 80
    https 443
    smtp 25
