Sendy redirecting to IP address?

edited April 2017 in Troubleshooting

Setup:
Domain is managed at GoDaddy
Sendy is installed on AWS via Elastic Beanstalk.
Subdomain has DNS & A record managed on AWS with Route 53.

Problem:
When filling out form to install Sendy, it keeps forwarding to the IP Address instead of the Subdomain. When I type in the URL mail.mydomain.com/sendy, the install form displays, but when I submit, it goes to 55.55.55.55/sendy & displays an error saying I'm not in the licensed domain.

Where should I look at tracking this down? Any configuration screen shots you suggest I look at in these different areas of Godaddy & AWS?

    Hi,

When I type in the URL mail.mydomain.com/sendy, the install form displays, but when I submit, it goes to 55.55.55.55/sendy & displays an error saying I'm not in the licensed domain.

Please ensure you set the APP_PATH in /includes/config.php correctly.

For example if you installed Sendy on http://mail.mydomain.com/sendy, set the APP_PATH in
    /includes/config.php to 'http://mail.mydomain.com/sendy' and not 'http://55.55.55.55/sendy'.

    Thanks.

    Best regards,
    Ben
