gettext?

What folder should gettext be in. My login was working fine up to a fortnight ago. I have done a compatibility check and it shows gettext not enabled - yet when I search the server I can find gettext. I am confused.

    Hi,

    gettext is a server extension and is usually installed on the server via SSH. Please contact your hosting provider to install gettext extension for you.
