Sendy on t4g ARM based instance

edited September 2021 in Questions

Will sendy work on an ARM based server like AWS t4g?

  • I'm planning to run it on T4g. Can't see any reason why it wouldn't work, as Sendy runs interpreted on PHP, making the CPU architecture largely irrelevant. The only question is one of performance, whether you would get better performance running on an x86 architecture vs. ARM.

  • ok. Can you let me know? I currently use t3 and scale up and down between sizes for cost/performance savings/benefits. t4g is cheaper, although I'm not sure if I will get better performance.

  • I got it setup and working. I think the performance lags compared to t3
