Effect of SMTP endpoint availability on Sendy

edited April 2022 in Questions

Hi,

While going through SES documentation, I came upon this statement.

Does this mean that if Sendy is hosted on a EC2/SES of these regions, then i will not be able to use SES to send mails?

SMTP endpoints are not currently available in Africa (Cape Town), Europe (Milan), Middle East (Bahrain).

Just trying to validate my understanding.

It doesn't mean that. You can use Amazon SES in any other regions, doesn't matter what region you use for Amazon EC2.

    Thanks.

    Best regards,
