    Hi Ben, Lets say I create two brands under one account. Is it possible to have Brand A to send emails via SES and other via hostgator (example) - at the same time? without having to take off SES settings from Brand A ? If i remove ses credentials from the main settings, then all the rest of the brands who use SES gets disrupted. Is there any workaround. QUOTE If you prefer using other email service providers over Amazon SES for sending emails, set your SMTP settings here. You must also remove your 'Amazon Web Services Credentials' from the main settings so that emails are sent via these SMTP settings. Note that multi-threading is not supported, bounces and complaints will also not be registered if you use other email service providers to send emails. UNQUOTE

    Ben, I can't get the reset my password email...I've spoken to amazon and fixed all the SES console and still isn;t working...not going to my spam email eitherr....PLEASE HELP!!! I have no clue what phpmyadmin is nor how to use it, thanks in advance!!!

    Hi I just passed the first stage of installing sendy which is the part where I fill in the details like the access key and all that but after clicking install it takes me to 404 error login page.     BEN, IS THERE A WAY TO OVERRIDE THE SENDING RATE SETTING IN SENDY? IT APPEARS THAT THE SENDING RATE SENDS PER 5 SECONDS ON AVERAGE (90 EMAILS PER 5 SECONDS). IF WE CAN OVERRIDE THEN MAYBE REACH HIGHER SPEEDS AND GET CLOSER TO AMAZON'S 90/SEC LIMIT.

    I followed your suggestion to cut and past contacts into a new cvs file and re-named it and re-uploaded it. Each time I do this I get a different active number, there should be 19085 contacts on the list why are they not showing up?

    Ben, I had successfully uploaded a cvs file of 19085 contacts in two columns as shown, however it only displayed 342 and after sending campaign, it reads 687 recipients. Is it stuck? why does the total number of recepients or similar NOT show up? Since, I am having a hard time uploading additional cvs contact files, they either get rejected, or desplay 0. These campains are time sensitive and I need your help. Have not received any reply via e mail from hello@sendy.co

    I had the same issue as this user here (https://sendy.co/forum/discussion/1494/how-to-turn-on-display_errors/p1) during install. Installing curl fixed the issue, but I believe display_errors flag is not detecting correctly from the php.ini on the config checking page. Even when I set it to "On", the page says it's "Off". Just fyi. might be a minor bug.

      I would like that as well. Why not have an export option for not opened? Basically I would like to export that segment to target those people in a slightly different way from the people who opened or clicked. I understand that if images are turned off its not tracking accurately, but it doesnt change the fact that I would still like to export that list. For the next update it would be amazing to have the ability to export, just like all the other fields. Thanks, Ben

    Hi Ben, We created custom reports on top of sendy. These reports are for brands and as well as admin. We thought to make it as open source. Can we do that? Only reports are open sourced. People need to have sendy installation to use this. Let me know your views!!! with Regards Kesava Reddy

    Hi Ben, you say: The registered bounces you see in Sendy's interface are 'Hard bounces'. Soft bounces are invisible to you but are registered in the database. If an email soft bounce 3 times, it'll be converted to 'hard bounce'. This happens automatically in the background. Ben My question is: In the case of a Mailbox FULL, sendy put that recipient to HardBounce after 3 times of SoftBounce. What happens when a user empties his Mailbox? Sendy will remove that recipient from BOUNCE LIST automatically or leave it yet in the Bounce LIST ? Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

    Hi Ben, When trying to import lists I just get 0% and spinning wheel. I think I have found out what caused it, but I'm not sure how to cancel it and restart a new import. What I feel was happening was trying to import a list of about 100k subscribers... which I have successfully done prior. However, MS Excel removed the first blank column to be reserved for the name field... only to have Sendy try and import the file that is just a list of email addresses. This may or may not be how it became stuck, but that's my only guess. Is there a way I can cancel the import? Thanks in advance!

      Nevermind... I found that if I simply deleted the import file from the uploads/csvs folder it stopped it. Once I just added in one name for a subscriber the first column in excel so it would retain it after saving, the file was able to be successfully imported.

    Ben, I posted in the forum a little while ago about the edit function going missing in the list settings. However, I was able to find a workaround by editing the rows in the MySQL database directly that pertained to the default messages. Then, the functionality returned. For some reason, there was only the <html><head> and then closing brackets. This might be a bug where if a user puts in a custom design, and then deletes it in the WYSIWYG editor, it causes an error with the edit bar. Anyway, something to look at, but I'm good on my specific issue now.

    Ben, I tried posting a discussion a couple of times to solve an issue with license, but I cannot see it published. Also, in my profile, I saw that there are 2 discussions I posted but they do not get shown. Can you check if they have been correctly received?     Hey Ben, I have an issue with Amazon's sending ips. Since they don't give a dedicated ip every time I send emails they are sent with a different ip. The problem is that some of the ips are on spam blacklists. so some of my emails get significantly lower open rates because spam filters are catching them. is there a way to get a dedicated sending ip?

      This sounds like something that DKIM might help mitigate, make sure you have this configured properly on the DNS settings for the domain you are sending from.

    Hi Ben, I have reviewed the troubleshooting closed thread at https://sendy.co/forum/discussion/237/emails-not-sending-to-subscribers-on-different-lists-in-different-brands/p1 which appears to be the same issue that I am having. I have sent out 2 campaigns to 2 different lists (1 list per campaign) and there is a large discrepancy between the number of active users and the number or emails that have been sent. See my stats below: -> campaign 1 -> list size 8558 contacts -> sent to 7257 contacts -> 15% of contacts did not receive email -> campaign 2 -> list size 3903 contacts -> sent to 1414 contacts -> 64% of contacts did not receive email There is no consistency between these 2 results so it's hard to find a causal link. Sendy was obviously able to send to 7257 contacts for campaign 1, so it shouldn't have had any issue with campaign 2 with a list size of 3903. And the system is reporting that the campaigns were sent successfully even though they weren't. Please assist Ko

    Ben, when trying to import lists I just get 0% and spinning wheel. I thought it was because I needed to update but I've updated to the latest version and still the same problem. I never used to have any issues uploading my list. I saw something similar in another thread but it didn't say how the issue was resolved. Any idea what I can do? Thanks!

I've been trying to get bounces and complaints setup and closely followed the guide. The only difference with my platform is I have a HTTPS domain so selected the HTTPS notification option. I receive this email in my gmail spam folder: I guess this is something more fundamental going wrong? The following message to <bounce@simulator.amazonses.com> was undeliverable.     Updates about my problem with cron posted here http://forum.sendy.co/discussion/1343/campaign-are-always-in-preparing It was a sintaxe problem. The only one cron job that worked for me it was a little bit different from the command Sendy told me to run. The difference is in the end, look: */5 * * * * php /your_sendy_folder/scheduled.php >> /dev/null 2>> /dev/null If you open the discution again, I can post it and advice others that could have the same problem.

      Depending on what hosting you use, the cron job command can be slightly different. Sendy is a self hosted product so this is something I cannot control, server environments are all different. Even if you post this variation, it may not work for another user. I can only advise people to check with their hosting company if their cron job is correct, or does it need to be changed slightly.
