If I create 2 'Brands' like this:
ABC with username: firstname.lastname@example.org
XYZ with username email@example.com
The client (owner of brand 1) can then click 'Settings' and change his email address to firstname.lastname@example.org. Both usernames are now in the 'login' table with no disambiguation. Perhaps brand-owners should not be allowed to change login name?
I'll check on this.
This is now fixed in version 1.1.7.
