Hello there, so we just installed Sendy and would like to get organised. Our client database has, amongst others, these columns: name, country, state, language, client type (numbers 1-4), email. Do we need to create "brands" for each country we have clients in and additionally brands for each customer type in each country? what if we want to send mails to all clients in one country? Or all french speaking ones around the globe?

You'll create separate brands if you want to organise different clients or products that you manage.
If you want to organise subscribers by counties, you create 'lists' to organise them. Create one list for each country. You don't create separate brands for each country.
