How to use [Name,fallback=] tag

I guess I don't understand how this tag works. I've tried adding it into the body of my newsletter but when I send a test, no name appears.

I'd appreciate if you could explain just how to add this tag. Thanks.

    [Name,fallback=] will turn into the subscriber's name that's stored in the 'Name' field for their record.

    If the subscriber has 'Tom' stored in their Name field, the tag will turn into 'Tom' in the email you sent.

    If the subscriber's Name field is empty, the fallback value will be displayed. So be sure to enter something in the 'fallback' otherwise it'll be completely empty.

    For example, if you include the following in your email:

    Hi [Name,fallback=there]

    it'll turn into:

    Hi Tom

    or:

    Hi there

    depending on whether the recipient's Name field has been set.
