mod_rewrite is enabled, still getting 404 error

edited July 2014 in Troubleshooting

I know that this topic has been beaten to death on this forum.

I have followed all of the troubleshooting instructions and have searched through this forum extensively. I still don't know what's going on.

The sendy app is installed in the root folder of a subdomain on my Bluehost account.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

    Hi,

    Please see → http://sendy.co/troubleshooting#404-error

    Bluehost certainly has mod_rewrite enabled.

    Thanks.

    Best regards,
    Ben

  • Thank you. I was very familiar with the troubleshooting guide as well as about 20 or so posts here in the forum on the same matter. Nothing worked until I just uploaded a fresh .htaccess file from the sendy folder to my web hosting directory.

I'm writing this to help someone in the future that may have the same issue that I have experienced.

    Thanks again Ben!
