Sending quota has turned zero

edited November 2015 in Troubleshooting

Hi Ben,

Facing some problem with Sendy since morning.

  1. First it said the email id is not verified, though we have been using it since the beginning.
  2. We checked on the aws console which said email id was verified. Even then we tried re-verifying the email id.
  3. Post that the sending quota became zero. Our previous quota was 10,00,000.
  4. Our domain is also verified.

Can you please look into this problem asap.

Best

Prajjal

  • Hi,

All these issues stem from one thing - your Sendy installation being unable to communicate with Amazon SES API.

You need to look at the red error message on the left sidebar where your quota shows all zeros and troubleshoot from there. It's 1 out of 3 possibilities listed in the red error message that's causing your Sendy installation not to be able to communicate with Amazon SES API.

For syncing your server clock with NTP, run the following command via SSH (or request your hosting support to do so):

    sudo /usr/sbin/ntpdate 0.north-america.pool.ntp.org 1.north-america.pool.ntp.org 2.north-america.pool.ntp.org 3.north-america.pool.ntp.org

    Best regards,
    Ben

  • Thank you so much Ben. This was exactly the SSh command that I needed. Everything is working fine now :-)
