Nginx rewrites/support ?

Hi,

I didn't buy yet sendy, but i want to buy it in 1 month for one of my project, and i see in instalation steep something with .htaccess, so are there some rewrite rules who work just with apache ?
I want to know that because i have as webserver NGINX, and i have some troubles with rewrite rules.

is easy if are just url, but i found other web apps who have rewrite incorpored in application, and not work with nginx.
