Can Admin Edit "Subscriber info" Fields on Dashboard?

edited December 2012 in Troubleshooting
When I click a subscribers name within a list in my Sendy, I notice I can edit the first 4 data fields by clicking them, but I have 8 data fields (custom) and the remaining 4 are not clickable or editable from the dashboard. How do I edit other data fields?

  • Hi @dhollings,

You can edit all custom fields in the subscriber card when clicking on a subscriber. Is that not so for you?

    Thanks.

No Ben, on mine I can only edit the top 4 fields on the subscriber card after clicking subscribers name. The other fields show, but are not clickable (not hyperlinked), nor editable.

  • Hi @dhollings,

    Please send me your:

    1) Installation URL, email and password
    2) FTP details

so I can see what's going on?

    Thanks.

I'm emailing it to: ben at sendy.co and hello at sendy.co
  • Hi @dhollings,

Thanks for the credentials. I checked and realized you're using 'dashes' and 'question marks' in custom field names. JQuery threw an error when executing the dynamic variables with 'dashes' and 'question marks' in it.

I've worked around this and updated your files via your FTP.

These changes will also appear in the next update which will introduce support for 'dashes' and 'question marks' in custom field names. Though I'd suggest not using any special characters in custom field names.

    Thanks!
