Just installed Sendy and everything cleared out with the SES but can't send emails
Hello guys
I keep getting this msg
You can't send more than your SES daily limit. Either wait till Amazon replenishes your daily limit in the next 24 hours, or request for extended access.
even though i didn't even send a single email yet.
appreciate your help

Hi @VadimG,
Is your SES daily quota displayed as '0' (login and look at the left sidebar)?
If so, you wouldn't be able to send emails. You need to request your host to sync your server clock with NTP.
Once your server clock is synced, Amazon SES will then be able to display your quotas and send your emails.
Thanks.
Ben
what do you mean, to sync the server clock with the NTP
my server is shared server i don;t think they can change it's time
Hi @VadimG,
Just in case you're wondering, this is Amazon SES's requirement, not a requirement or restriction set by Sendy.
If you search the forum you'll find that everyone who has this problem solved it by requesting their host to sync their server clock with NTP.

This was the first respons my host gave me
We will not change the server's timezone settings -- you're on a shared server, and we can't support that request.
(It would affect other customers.)
is there anything else i can do ?
I've never actually heard of a hosting company refusing to sync their server clock when it's out of sync. It's like having a problem but outright refusing to fix it. What hosting company are you with?
webhostinghub.com
You may want to consider switching host or use another host to send emails. Refusing to sync their server clock sounds odd to me.
Lastly, I just want to confirm with you once again (as I haven't receive your acknowledgement) that your Amazon SES quota are all displayed as '0' in the left sidebar and in the 'Define recipients' page?
yes
Thanks.
Just another user who had the same issue synced their server clock with NTP http://sendy.co/discussion/686/send-quota-0-emaildomain-verified-ntp-synced#Item_3
There's no way around this unless your server clock is synced with NTP. As you can see in the thread above it's only 3 lines of command but your host refuse to execute.
