Unlicensed domain

edited March 2013 in Troubleshooting

Hello,

Today I bought Sendy, but I can't install it on my server.
I'm getting the message: "Unlicensed domain You need to install Sendy on the domain (sendy.tim-online.nl) you purchased it for.".
But I bought the license on this domain...

At the install I had a Internal Server Error, so I disabled Options +FollowSymLinks & Options -Multiviews
After that, I see the Unlicensed domain error. And when I check the database, I see 3 tables ares, ares_emails & queue.

And I never saw the server compatibility checklist or something..

PHP error_log: http://pastebin.com/8ibJnT8g

Thanks!!

  • Hi @Rick,

I tested sendy.time-online.nl directly via our license checker and it returns 'verified'. There's no problems there.

What I saw in your error log is that your server is unable to write session data:

Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct

Please consult your host to rectify this part and try again.

    Thanks.

  • Hi Ben,

    Thank you for your answer.
I fixed the session error by adding session.save_path to my .htaccess file.

But there are still some problems, I cleared my error_log and I've tried a clean install.
    This was the result: http://pastebin.com/DVJeiWx6

    Thanks!

  • I've found the problem! We're using firehol on our servers and that blocked the curl request to the licence server.
Could you give me the URL of the licence server so that I can add it to the trusted servers list?

    Thanks!

  • Hi @Rick,

The URL of the license server is http://sendy.co

    Thanks.

    Ben
