[Windows] SNS Subscriptions Remain in the Pending State

edited May 2013 in Troubleshooting

I am hosting Sendy 1.1.6.2 on Windows Azure (following Scott Hanselman's tutorial from his blog) Everything seems to be working - I.e. I can add brands and campaigns, my Amazon SES quota shows up on my dashboard etc. However after carefully following the steps to set up bounce and complaint subscriptions on SNS my subscriptions remain as pending confirmation. They are both HTTP and I have deleted and retried.

I can send emails from my confirmed emails via SES directly, but when I try and send out a test campaign, no emails are delivered. The error csv shows error code 0 for all three sends and the email address is the same for all three even though the campaign list has three separate recipients.

Hope you can help,
Nige

  • Hi Nige,

As much as I want to help, Sendy is not supported on Windows (see Sendy's FAQ), it has never been tested on Windows although Scott made it work.

Please leave a reply on Scott's blog post to check if there's anything you need to change on the bounces and complaints scripts.

If you can't get Sendy to work, please consider switching to a Linux box.

    Thanks.

    Ben
