Clicked a Link confusion - different from Link Activity

edited May 2013 in Questions

Sendy Support,

We are in the process of putting together a report for an advertiser we sent out an email campaign and want to understand the numbers fully... kind of confusing right now.

Boxed in area below graphs
1.3183% (blue background color) clicked a link (710 clicked)

Link activity (after, I added up the clicks for each individual link)
Unique = 820 clicks
Total = 887 total clicks

So if I understand this correctly - 887 total clicks were clicked by 710 emails/people. Is this correct?

Challenge is reporting this to the advertiser since it isn't "spelled out" fully and is kind of confusing with the way it is now. It would be great if it spelled it out better overall - in either "area" (gray'ed box or Link activity).

Thanks,
Jeremy

  • Hi Jeremy,

    Yes that's correct. 710 "people" clicked. In Link Activity section, multiple link clicks can be made by one person, so the total numbers appear bigger.

    I've taken note of your suggestion. Thank you.

  • Hi Ben,

    Thanks for the confirmation and it would be great if that would at least notate "x.xxx%" emails clicked a link (xxx emails clicked).

    Thanks,
    Jeremy
