Importing data without an email address field

Hi

I am looking to use sendy to not only send email but manage a database.
Some of the older data i retain do not have an email address with them.

Is there anyway for sendy to allow this data to be imported?

    Hi @chrisando,

    No you can't though. Sendy is an email marketing tool and you can't import subscribers without an email address.

    Just a thought, would this work?

    Put a fake email in the email field eg. 123@456.com
    Import all the data.
    Then do a 'mass unsubscribe' on all those fake email address' to ensure they do not get emails.

    I guess you can. Just note that each email needs to be unique for each record with these fake emails. Sendy checks for duplicate emails when importing.
