Hi Sendy Team,

First of all it's great program and thanks for this. But I have a problem with sending Turkish emails.

I can send emails but turkish characters ( ÖÇŞIĞÜ-öçşığü http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Turkish_characters ) appears wrong. I added and try some other versions of doctype and "meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"/" for display correctly then sent test emails but this didn't solve the problem, actually nothings changed. Now I'm planning to convert sendy PHP files enconding to UTF-8 (without BOM) but there are lot of files.

So, how can I solve this problem, it's ( REALLY ) important for me? Is my plan ok ? If it's ok, which file i have to convert ( all sendy files ) ?

  • Hi @oar,

I just sent a test email with these characters ÖÇŞIĞÜ-öçşığü and here's what was displayed:

    Seems to be displayed correctly.

Maybe it's not related, but there is currently an issue with gmail accounts using activesync protocol on iOS. Accentuated characters on emails sent from Sendy appear wrong. Don't know why. There is no issue with IMAP. I guess the problem is on Google side.
