Optin Monster ~ Has anyone gotten Sendy to work with it?
I bought Optin Monster (Wordpress Plugin) and have it installed and displaying correctly here: http://cookingquinoa.net however, despite the fact that it's registering conversions, they aren't appearing in the subscriber list.
Optin Monster has a custom HTML form field to use if you aren't using Aweber/MailChimp and says this:
"OptinMonster allows you to connect to any email provider that offers an HTML form for subscribing to your list. Paste the contents of the HTML code output generated by your provider in the field below. All non-form elements and text will be stripped from the code, leaving only the essential pieces of the form in tact. This field does not support script or iframe tags for optin forms."
Pasting the Sendy subscribe form HTML shows the correct fields but upon submit does not register the new optin or transfer the data.
I submitted a support ticket with Optin Monster but wasn't sure if anyone else had any experience that might help.

I have gotten it to work but optinmonster does not track conversions. all it does is add a new subscriber.
@projectaaron How'd you get it to work? It's tracking in OptinMonster what they call "conversions" but the new subscriber data isn't being relayed to Sendy with the subscribe form HTML.
@vincentpolisi is it working on optinmonster now?
@hamzahali
Yes, I had to get their developers involved but we've had it working since shortly after I asked this question in April. There are a few modifications you have to make to the Sendy form code but once that's done, it works perfectly.
You can see a complex example I have on the popup on this site: http://renttoown.it
How did you get it to work? I bought it yesterday thinking that it'd work with anything but then realizing that it's not.
Love some more info on this.
How do you manage what happens after they enter the data? At the moment mine just says the Sendy "thanks for subscribing". Would be cool if it sent the info and then just stopped and went back to the site
Hey @vincentpolisi,
Do you mind sharing the code snippets with the community? It would really help if you can post the changes that you made to get it working. Thanks!

Hey @efuentes,
Thanks for chipping in. The solution you provided is a little bit crude as OM doesn't know the user subscriber this way and will show the exit popup again even when the visitors did enter their mail ids.
For those struggling with Optin Monster, I got PopUpDomination working with wordpress and Sendy without any problems or changes required to the code.
Just an update--the A/B test functionality on PopUpDomination isn't working for me with Sendy. I've had a support ticket in for a week or two without any response, so you'll want to take that into account before buying PopUpDomination.
Hello, there is now a Wordpress PLUGIN to seamlessly integrate OptinMonster with Sendy. You can get it here: http://appvisionaire.com/downloads/optinmonster-sendy-integration-addon.
@Iricky That's a sweet integration and I'm getting it! What a time saver.
@vincentpolisi Great that it helps... :-) If you have any issues or suggestions you can use their contact form to ask for support...
