Large amount of CSS added by editor

When I create an email a large amount of default css is being added. It's making gmail truncate the email. I can delete it but if I switch back to the WYSIWYG editor it returns. Is there some way to prevent this?

    Hi,

    Disable extensions in your browser and try again. This is usually caused by one of your browser extensions.

    Thanks in this case it was a Grammerly extension in chrome.
