[Mod] Exclude Lists Feature
Hello Sendy Users,
I think being able to exclude certain lists is a vital feature of any Auto-Responder.
Here's my way of implementing this feature: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/41192922/unlisted/sendy_mods/v2.0.3_exclude_lists_mod.zip
Note: This mod can only be used on Sendy version 2.0.3
Instructions:
- Back up your files and database just in case.
- Unzip v2.0.3_exclude_lists_mod.zip and upload its contents to your Sendy installation using an FTP client (like FileZilla) overwriting Sendy files.
- Go to url http://your-sendy-installation.com/exclude-db-changes.php
Put your own Sendy url of course.
This will make a necessary change to your database. - Delete exclude-db-changes.php file from your server.
That should be it.
Now when you create a new campaign you'll have an option to select which lists you'd like to exclude.
Let me know if you need any help with this mod.
Cheers,
Igor

Has anyone else used this Mod?
Excellent mod - we definitely need this. Does this work for one-off emails in addition to autoresponders?
+1 does this work for standard campaigns, or only autoresponders? Would someone who's tried it report back?
This does not work. Uploading the content to Sendy instalation deletes a lot of files by replacing folders.
When trying to send it never start sending and campaign still marked [Draft]
Well, it seems to work now, after re-installing everything... Looks like a hickup in my ftp-program.
Great addon. I just did a prelim test and it appears to work on standard campaigns. Ben: can you build this in as a feature to the next version to make upgrading easier?
Yes definitely vote +1 for this exclude feature in Sendy official version.

Does anyone know if this mod works with Sendy 2.04?
+1 should also be added to Sendy core..
And +1 on the question above, is this tested for 2.0.4 Igor?

@SteveSRS I haven't tested it with 2.0.4 yet but will let you know as soon as I do.
Add me to the list of people who wish this were available in the official version.
+1 on this being in the core.
However, I did make some changes to this for Sendy 2.0.4 - works in my testing but use at your own risk

How safe is this to do? I cannot afford to screw up my Sendy installation. I'm running version 2.04
Thanks!
'Exclude list' feature is now officially supported in Sendy!
