What is the best process for importing a CSV?

edited November 2015 in Using Sendy

Hi, I'm brand new to Sendy and looking forward to the savings/year vs Aweber.

When I exported my subscriber list from aweber there was a lot extra info in the columns of the csv file. I saw I need to use "create custom fields first" to add all this extra info from the Aweber csv file when importing a list.

Questions:

  1. Where is that info stored in sendy as I can't see once I uploaded the list into sendy?
  2. Is there a tutorial/thread on best practices when importing an email list from Aweber into sendy?

You can see the subscriber's custom field data when you click on their name or email in the list.

Just make sure your CSV format matches the 'example CSV format' that appears on the 'Add subscribers' page:

    Thanks.

    Best regards,
