Reutilizing a custom date field to send drip emails

edited April 2016 in Using Sendy

Hi all! Loving Sendy! But I am stumped on an efficient way to do the following:

We are storing the LastLogin date as a custom field that we update every time a user logins back into the system. We want to send emails to users who have not logged in for more than 30, 60 and 90 days.

30 days is of course no problem with the auto responder. When I try to add the 60 day email, however, I get the following:

"You can't create an autoresponder based on a custom field already in use by another autoresponder."

The "hack" solution here would be to have three LastLogin fields, all with the same value. But there has to be a better way to do this, right? Any ideas in the community?

  • Hi,

You can add more emails to the series in your Autoresponder, see screenshot below:

    Thanks.

  • Thank you Ben - I can't believe that I missed that! Much appreciated!
