Bounce Processing on SMTP accounts - NOT SES

edited February 2013 in Suggestions

Hi
it will be great if sendy also process the bounces when we use an SMTP server beside Amazon SES.
now we have the ability of sending emails but not processing bounces.
thanks in advance!

  • I had a brain fart on this, but not sure if it would be possible. Could we tell Sendy to check a designated database for bounces?

What I had in mind was to run something like OEMPro and use the bounce processor on there to collect SMTP bounces, and then allow Sendy to 'share' the bounces by reading the OEM database.

    Anyone tried something like this?

  • @lesterhein

I also have a Oempro license but at the moment im using Sendy. I use Sendy for "low cost" clients and Oempro for "premium clients" because of the extra features (triggers, auto-responses, api, etc..).

Did you already find/create any solution between Sendy and Oempro?

Also did you find a way to make Oempro to work with Amazon SES?

    Thanks

  • There is a solution for tracking bounces and complaints for SMTP via webhooks.
