Custom fields doesn't work

Custom fields doesn't work now. Please help.
When use custom fields for name it shows nothing.

    Hi,

    What is the exact name personalisation you used? Is it [Name] or [Name,fallback=]?

    Also, are you sending campaigns or autoresponders?

    hello Ben, Thanks for reply.
    I used [Name,fallback=]... when I tried to subscribed to my own optin it doesn't convert to name of the subscriber.

    I don't have issue when sending campaign. but on autoresponder, follow up email and confirmation of subscription it doesn't recognize the Name.

    You need to populate the fallback= with something. If the subscriber does not have a name in their records, the fallback= value will be used.

    For example if you use:

    Hi [Name,fallback=there]

    it will become:

    Hi Tom or Hi there depending on whether the subscriber have a name in their records. (note that "Tom" is just an example)
