Is there a way to find our which email address stays behind an unsubscribe link?
the link is encrypted and i receive it in a forward message so i do not know whom was this email sent.
Any idea how can i trace back?
Unsubscribe links are encrypted for security, so that no one can alter the email address in the URL and wilfully unsubscribe other possible email addresses.
To find out what email address is behind the unsubscribe link, click or access the unsubscribe link so that the user is unsubscribed. Then check your list to see what was the email address that you just unsubscribed.
