Understanding Brands

I'm new to Sendy. Confused with Brands. Can't find a User Guide to assist with the question.

If I place a subscriber email in one list in a List in one Brand:

  1. is it the same subscriber in a different List in the Same brand? (e.g. if unsubscribed once, is unsubscribed in both)
  2. If this subscriber is in a list in a different Brand, if they unsubscribe, will they be unsubscribed in the other Brand too?

    Hi,

    By default, if a subscriber unsubscribes using an unsubscribe link in a email campaign you send to them, they will be unsubscribed from 'ALL' lists within the brand.

    This can be changed in the 'Unsubscribe settings' in list settings to 'Only this list'.

    To edit any list's settings:

    1. Go to 'View all lists' on the left sidebar
    2. Click the pencil icon on the list item to edit its settings

    With regards to Brands, they are isolated from each other. The subscriber won't be unsubscribed from other brands in the above case.
