Using AWS SES as well as own server

edited June 2021 in Questions

Can we use AWS SES for one brand and also send from own server on other brand? Does getting AWS credentials disturb the existing setup?

  • Hi,

If you want to use an Amazon SES account for one ‘Brand’ and for other brands you want to send via SMTP or your server, set Amazon SES SMTP credentials for the brand instead of using IAM credentials in your Sendy main settings.

Here’s how to get your Amazon SES 'SMTP' credentials.

For other brands that you want to send via the server, don’t set anything in the SMTP fields in the brand settings, Sendy will default to send via the server.

Lastly, it’s still highly recommended to send all emails via Amazon SES which is what Sendy is designed for.

    Thanks.

    Best regards,
    Ben
