• alright... I figured it out. my colleague that imported the mailing list has quotes in them. so the emails are like "email@domain.com" and obviously malformed. I updated the list and it's working now.

• I do feel that this is a priority to make sure your users comply with CAN-SPAM, etc... Do give attention to [webversion] tag as well. Users may want their "text" subscribers to read full HTML version on the web instead.
