Setup a private Github repo to easy the upgrade process?

edited April 2013 in Suggestions

Hi, I've done this before for paid for projects were users subscribe.
Personally can't live without Git and I think a few users may find this useful also.

The repo can't be completely private, and you can grant permission to only those who have purchased.

  • I should have said, I'd be prepared to take this on and keep that latest version up to date, tag versions etc but I'd need someone to verify if someone was allowed access.

  • or a private password protected repo that we could pull from using a .gitignore

  • Hey Chris,

Thanks for your suggestion, I'll keep that in mind. I also understand where you're coming from.

I'm thinking of a one click update or automatic update feature which may come later.
