Can't save any edits made to my list

edited August 2017 in Troubleshooting

Hello Ben,

Sorry to bother, but I need some more help.

After updating to Sendy 3.0 (I think it worked), now when I edit my list and click "save", an error happens.

This is the message I'm getting:

 Request Entity Too Large
 The requested resource
 /includes/list/edit.php
does not allow request data with POST requests, or the amount of data provided in the request exceeds the capacity limit.

and the changes I tried to edit don't take effect.

What do you think could be happening?

Thanks!

Miguel

  • Hi,

If you have ‘Grammarly’ extension installed in your browser, it is inserting tons of code into the editor without you knowing when you're creating your campaign.

This undesired behavior by Grammarly not only causes Sendy to malfunction when saving and sending, it may cause your browser to crash in some circumstances.

If you do have 'Grammarly' extension installed in your browser, here's what you need to do:

    1) Disable Grammarly extension in your browser

    2)  Then remove everything in the WYSIWYG editors in the list settings and re set them up.

    Then save your settings again.

    Thanks.

    Best regards,
    Ben

  • Hi Ben,

What are the WYSIWYG editors in the list settings??

    Thanks!

  • Hi,

What are the WYSIWYG editors in the list settings??

The WYSIWYG editors are the form fields for 'Thank you email message', 'Double Opt-In confirmation message' and 'Goodbye email message'.

    Thanks.

    Best regards,
    Ben
