What is Amazon SES Sandbox mode?
Hi guys, what does being in SES sandbox mean? Does it mean I can't send to Gmail, Yahoo Mail etc.?
I've just setup Sendy on my domain. Have tried to send a few emails. The emails to my own domain email are received. But emails to Gmail and Yahoo Mail are not received at all. Anybody knows why?
Thanks

Hi,
Please see → http://docs.aws.amazon.com/ses/latest/DeveloperGuide/request-production-access.html
Most importantly when you are in Amazon SES sandbox mode, you can only send mail to the Amazon SES mailbox simulator and to verified email addresses and domains.
So you need to move out of Amazon SES 'Sandbox mode' to send production emails.
Thanks.
Best regards,
Ben
Ok, they just approved my increase in limits. Thanks for the help
