How to unsubscribe user from only one list?

We are using the Sendy API and when we subscribe a user we can add them to one or more lists, however when we want to remove them from a specific list using the unsubscribe API it removes them from all lists. How can we force so it removes only from a specific one and keeps them on the rest?

    Visit your list settings and change the 'Unsubscribe settings' to 'Only this list' (by default it's set to 'All lists' which is email marketing's best practice).
