Setting up a Cron job on a 1and1

I did see this question but was still unsure as I've never setup a cron job on my own: http://forum.sendy.co/discussion/153/cron-job-and-1and1/p1

So I started by Googling the question and came up with this specific 1and1 tutorial: http://help.1and1.com/hosting-c37630/linux-c85098/cron-jobs-c37727/how-can-i-create-a-cron-job-a595882.html

I followed it along fairly well, but I'm still not really sure about where to input the command and cron job information. I got as far as logging into the ssh thingy using Terminal on my Mac and creating and editing the cronTest.php file.

If I could have a little bit of guidance along where to go next, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Contact 1and1 support for guidance on how to setup a cron job on their server. Send them Sendy's cron job instructions if you need. This is within their scope of service and they should be able to help you better.
