Why allow users to change the 'from email' if it will fail unless it is a verified address in SNS?

If I setup a 'brand' for a client and give them access, when creating a new campaign they have the ability to change the 'from email'.

If they change that email address, everything will look like it's working, but the emails will never arrive and it shows 0% open rate.

Why allow users to change this?




  • James, you just brought up a very good point. We'll disable changing of the "from" address for users you gave access to.

    Btw, for me, my forum email preferences here were set to *not* notify me of comments on my discussion posts. That should be changed, as I'm sure everyone would want to see replies to their support requests.
