Sending a thank you email, Name and Email not parsed

In my list, I have ticked "Send user a thank you email after they subscribe through the subscribe form or API"

I have the following code in my email, but shortcodes are not being parsed.

Hi [Name,fallback=there],

Thanks for subscribing. [Email]

I get an email as above, including the square brackets. What am I doing wrong?

Version 3.0.6 onwards allows you to use personalization and unsubscribe tags in the 'Thank you', 'Goodbye' and 'Confirmation' email set in list settings:
