How do I use templates?

I have created a template - but how do I use it. I thought the purpose of a template would be to allow me to use it by inserting a code in an autoresponder or campaign mail - but I can't find any way to refer to templates.

Have I misunderstood? Are they simply resources that I can manually copy and paste?

Hi,

After you've created a template, when you create a new campaign you have the option to load that template into the new campaign you create so you don’t have to start from scratch.
