Sidebar widget on Wordpress.com

I was wondering whether there is any way to have a Newsletter Sign Up form on a WordPress.COM blog. I saw a thread which explains how to do it on a WordPress.ORG blog (http://forum.sendy.co/discussion/93/subscription-sidebar-widget-in-wordpress-how-to-/p1) but when I try to paste the code into a WordPress.COM blog it strips the Form elements as a security measure, which is really annoying. I thought I'd post this here in case Sendy finds some way around this (or as a potential suggestion for future versions if this is possible to do).

    Thanks Alex

    Hi Alex,

It depends where you paste the form in. You could paste the subscribe form HTML code in the sidebar template, or if you already have a sidebar widget registered, you can paste it as a sidebar text widget via Wordpress admin.

Or, check out the unofficial Sendy widget for Wordpress → http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/sendy-widget/

    Thanks.

    Best regards,
    Ben
