First name and last names

Hello Ben,

Is there a way to get Sendy to only pull in First Name from a CSV file? Our website subscription form collects First Name and Last Name and I don't want to alter that. But Sendy only has the Name field. I don't want to send to Dear Jane Smith, but to Dear Jane.

How can this be done for Sendy's list import? Also I will need to change our auto-subscribe on the website from Mailchimp to Sendy, but don't want to switch to Name, since we need first and last name to be separate.

    Hi,

    You can use the 'Name' field to store first names. To store last names, create a 'custom field' in the list and call it 'Last name' to store last names.

    To create custom fields for a list:

    1. Go to 'View all lists' on the left sidebar
    2. Select your desired list
    3. Click 'Custom fields' at the top
