Difference in Data Metrics

edited July 2013 in Questions

Hi I hope someone can help. I am looking in my campaign report and seeing that we "sent" an email to 3551 Subscribers. I've had 314 bounces, and 1 spam, however when I look at the metrics in the SES dashboard and the deliveries number for yesterday didn't even reach 2,000 im also seeing under 175 bounces, and the 1 complaint.

Can anyone explain the discrepency? or what may cause it.

I believe this might actually be a misunderstand of SES on my account sorry. I think (If im understanding correctly), Amazon runs a 24 hour aggregation, therefore its only showing me what the deliveries rate was at -24 hours from current time

  • Hi @ServiceTick,

There's no discrepancy. Your campaign was sent on July 17 at 11:48am through midnight on July 18. If you look at your SES metrics, around 2800 was sent on July 17, and more than 700 was sent on July 18. The total is 3500+ emails which matches the 3551 displayed in your report.

    Best regards,
    Ben

  • I've looked again and the graphs are now correct. This can be marked as resolved, there is no issue.
