Can one brand send emails using email address of another brand?

Let's say I have 2 brands: Brand A and Brand B with email addresses info@branda.com and info@brandb.com.

When sending campaigns, can Brand A send emails using info@brandb.com?

When sending campaigns, Brand A can send emails through info@brandb.com.

They can't, unless Brand A owns the email account for info@brandb.com. Before being able to use an email address as 'From email' to send emails, they need to click the verification link in the email sent to info@brandb.com. Since Brand A doesn't own the email account for info@brandb.com, they can't complete the verification, which means they can't send emails via info@brandb.com.
