I have two lists in Sendy, A and B.
I want to send an email to list A saying if you click this link, you will be subscribed to list B as well.
What is the best way of achieving this? Have searched the forum but not found an answer.
You’d need to utilise the subscribe API for this kind of requirements.
I would create a page that gets ?email@example.com data from the URL via GET. Then call the subscribe API to subscribe the user to list B. The page will display “You’re subscribed to List B”.
Then I would get the URL of the page I created and put it in my newsletter. The URL may look something like this https://firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note that custom programming is outside the support scope of Sendy. If you need help with that, I suggest hiring an affordable programmer from places like https://www.fiverr.com, https://www.upwork.com, https://www.freelancer.com/ etc.
Ok, many thanks. Have got it working after re-jigging the 'simple subscribe' download available here: https://sendy.co/api
