One-click subscribe link from List A to List B

Hi,

I have two lists in Sendy, A and B.

I want to send an email to list A saying if you click this link, you will be subscribed to list B as well.

What is the best way of achieving this? Have searched the forum but not found an answer.

Hi,

You’d need to utilise the subscribe API for this kind of requirements.

I would create a page that gets ?email=name@domain.com data from the URL via GET. Then call the subscribe API to subscribe the user to list B. The page will display “You’re subscribed to List B”.

Then I would get the URL of the page I created and put it in my newsletter. The URL may look something like this https://mywebsite.com/signup-to-list-b.php?email=name@domain.com

Please note that custom programming is outside the support scope of Sendy. If you need help with that, I suggest hiring an affordable programmer from places like https://www.fiverr.com, https://www.upwork.com, https://www.freelancer.com/ etc.
