Custom domain still shows the sendy folder, but with the subdomain

edited April 2021 in Questions

Hi,
I added the cname for the newsletter.mydomain.com and when you type newsletter.mydomain.com/sendy, goes to the sendy admin panel, as it should.

When you see the email on browser or the unsubscribe/re-subscribe page, the URL is like newsletter.mydomain.com/sendy/zxgxwrcgtrhrtvrthhrtvehvtr
Is it right? It still shows the word 'sendy' in the url, and someone can remove the '/zxgxwrcgtrhrtvrthhrtvehvtr' part and see the sendy admin panel.

Am I added the custom domain wrong or this is the way that suppose to work?

If you don't want the sendy part to be in the URL, install Sendy on a subdomain https://sendy.johncodeos.com instead of https://johncodeos.com/sendy. Then point your CNAME record newsletter.mydomain.com to the subdomain sendy.johncodeos.com.

    Thanks.

    Best regards,
