How to make a proper salutation

Hi,

i'm new with Sendy, i'm trying to set up everything right now. I'm struggling with the "salutation".
Every newsletter (in Germany in my industry) starts with: Dear Mr or Miss eventually first name than last name. Additionally, "Dear" is different depending on the gender.

How can I implement this in sendy?

Hi,

You can create a 'Custom field' called 'Salutation'. Then populate the value for each subscriber appropriately. Imagine there is a subscriber named 'Juliet'. Set the custom value for this subscriber to 'Dear Miss'.

Then in your email, you can use the tag [Salutation] [Name].

It will be converted to the following when Juliet:

Dear Miss Juliet
