Complete contact list isn't importing and the uploading status kept buffering

I am uploading the contact list of 3400 prospects, at first it was crashing because of the cron job. i got it fixed from the service providers and now when i upload the contact list it keeps buffering and isn't uploading the list.

No firewall and mod security enabled.
