Post /subscribe with unconfirmed state

Hi, Just wanted to ask if there is any way to post request "/subscribe" but in an "unconfirmed" state.

    Hi,

    If your list is 'Double opt-in', the subscriber will be added to the list as 'Unconfirmed'. In addition, the subscriber will receive an email containing a confirmation link that needs to be clicked in order to change their status to 'Active'.
