Marked as spam or delivered as spam?

edited September 2023 in Questions

Hi

Does everything that shows up in the Campaign Report as 'Marked as Spam' only include emails that have been actively marked as spam by the recipient - or does it represent the number that ended up in the spam folder? If only actively marked then is there a way of knowing how, from those that have not been open, how many ended up in the inbox and how many ended up in spam folder?

Thanks

  • Hi,

When an email is 'Marked as spam', it means the recipient marked your email as spam.

The subscriber's status is not marked as 'Marked as spam' when emails are sent directly to the spam folder.

If only actively marked then is there a way of knowing how, from those that have not been open, how many ended up in the inbox and how many ended up in spam folder?

ISPs does not provide information on whether the email you sent ended up in their spam folder or inbox.

    Best regards,
    Ben
